Ororo Munroe (aka Aleja Storm) was left on her own after her parents died in a plane crash, leaving her to fend for herself and deal with severe post-traumatic claustrophobia, a fear which still affects her today. To overcome it, she found comfort through music and began DJing clubs across Europe to soothe herself from fear.
Monogram Pictures quickly noticed her and signed her to a contract, producing films featuring her alongside such actors as Frankie Darro, Edgar Kennedy and the Three Stooges. Additionally, she sang several soundies (three-minute musicals produced for movie jukeboxes).
Storm reached out to Hunter and apologized for coming off cold during their last conversation, explaining she has been working to control her emotions. She warned Hunter that her powers are connected to her emotions and that too much anger or stress could trigger hurricane-force winds; Storm is learning how to regulate herself better as part of a healthy relationship and thanked Hunter for treating her like an equal.
