Women’s Rights Activists in India

Indian’s shocking record of women being raped and killed since 2016 has drawn international condemnation, prompting both government retaliation and new legislation, but this problem goes deeper. At its root are cultural, economic and psychological issues involving gender inequality which cannot be fixed with laws alone; rather government must work on changing men’s minds while reviewing its own gender equality policies in order to combat violence against women endemic in society – victims need assistance in which women rights activists may provide much-needed help –

Ainhoba_ is an Indian citizen journalist and activist working for Awaadi – Working for Human Rights, located in Mumbai. She contributes to several media outlets including Hindustan Times and Daily News and Analysis; covering stories regarding recent escalation of violence against women while campaigning for more robust government response to such instances of harassment and assault against them.

Ainhoba’s work focuses on sexual violence against women, specifically rape and abuse, in India and around the world. She has collaborated with numerous organizations both domestically and abroad such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Campaign and National Alliance to End Domestic Violence to address this issue. Ainhoba has appeared both locally and nationally on TV as a guest expert commentator while frequently guest speaking at universities and conferences.
