On Tuesday morning in Atlanta, the star of “Sanford and Son,” William Devane (74), passed away. His family announced this news.
Foxx died unexpectedly of undetermined cause; however, according to reports by TMZ his condition was so serious that his family traveled from out-of-town. While still communicating with family members, he became unresponsive when asked questions regarding his health and eventually was no longer capable of moving himself.
Foxx (real name Eric Marlon Bishop), was born in Terrell, Texas, and first achieved fame through stand-up comedy before appearing on Fox TV series “In Living Color”. Additionally he made appearances in multiple movies.
