Sheila hails from Massachusetts and earned both a BA and MA in journalism at Stanford. From 2010-14 she was the Interviews Editor at The Believer magazine where she conducted longform print interviews with such luminaries as Joan Didion, Elena Ferrante, Agnes Varda and Sophie Calle – living outside Edinburgh with her family.
