About Ajdownanddirty

This commercial features Army Special Forces veteran Larry Jordan, who was asked by his fellow Green Berets to create a real, hands-on combat system.

Down-and-dirty’ is an idiom meaning “crude or carelessly done.” It may also refer to someone acting harshly and cruelly.

“Thrill” can also refer to something intense and exciting – for example, attending a rock-and-roll concert can be described as an exhilarating experience.

To appropriately use “down-and-dirty,” make sure it fits with its context. For instance, the word shouldn’t be applied to political campaigns as attacking family members is neither fair nor nice; yet this campaign was so dirty in its last week that even politicians attacked family members of rival candidates!

Health organizations can license the Down and Dirty campaign and begin running evidence-based Message Packages across local digital, social, and traditional media channels within one month. Rescue also offers support to manage teens’ social media comments through our research-vetted proprietary social media response bank. Click to explore available Message Packages.
