Alana Thompson Is Not Ready to Stop Sharing Her Life With the World

Alana Thompson may have grown up in the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean her life should remain hidden from public scrutiny. Now 17-year-old reality star Alana is planning to enter college this fall and major in neonatal nursing; according to Francesca Amiker at E! News she looks forward to getting out there and starting her career!

As a toddler, Honey Boo Boo first came into public view on TLC’s reality beauty pageant show Toddlers & Tiaras. Later, her mother June Shannon gave Honey Boo Boo and her three older sisters (Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon) their own show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which ran four seasons between 2012 and 2014. In 2018, she competed on Dancing with the Stars Juniors while appearing alongside Mama June: From Not Hot on WE TV as part of her weight loss journey.

In 2019, she told People that she and her sisters were doing well; however, their family was still grappling with some issues. Their mother had pursued relationships with men later found guilty of sexual offenses; later Anna revealed to have been molested by Mark Anthony McDaniel 10 years prior.

Last year, Alana appeared as Beach Ball in Season Six of The Masked Singer and was an incredible hit – though unfortunately it marked her last competition on this show!
