Celine’s Classic Bag was an immediate hit under Phoebe Philo and signalled a substantial change to their aesthetic. Featuring a boxy trapezoid design reminiscent of Luggage bags (but in no way identical), its popularity quickly spread. Other Celine bags such as Edge and Tie Bag have since come and gone but the Classic remains timeless, minimalist full-leather style sans monograms or logos; available with drummed, smooth and liege calfskin as well as exotic leathers such as crocodile and python.
