Lexie Smith Signs National Letter of Intent With Wabash Valley College

Lexie Smith has been an impressive four-sport student athlete at Princeton Community High School, excelling at soccer, cross country running, basketball and track and field. Now headed for Wabash Valley College she signed her National Letter of Intent on Friday at PCHS Media Center to continue her academic and athletic pursuits there.

Smith will join the Lady Warriors soccer team. A multi-year varsity player for PCHS Lady Tigers, Smith scored 10 goals and had five assists this year on the pitch while earning honors student status. Additionally, she contributed to two PCHS girls’ cross country state championship teams as well as helping lead 2023 Lady Tigers basketball sectional victories.

Smith earned all-conference and all-tournament recognition during both basketball and volleyball seasons. She hails from Northland Pines, Wisconsin with parents Craig and Julie Smith being her primary influences.

Smith is majoring in psychology. She plans to pursue a career in counseling and open her own practice one day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, boating and trot lining as well as any outdoor fun activity that arises. At PCHS she currently serves as President of the Student Activities Federation chapter and has held multiple leadership roles throughout school years; additionally she belongs to Federalist Society where she provides legal work for political campaigns as well as legal assistance to state senators.
